The first edition of ETHealthworld.com Innovation & Intelligent Healthcare Summit is aimed at giving its viewers a one of its kind experience where we bring the top decision-makers of the highest Govt. authorities with prominent names of the private sector in the healthcare industry.

Day1of the 2-day power packed summit witnessed the Govt. policymakers, Govt. officials talking about the roadmap post COVID 19 journey, while today (Day 2) the role of innovation and technology in healthcare will be discussed by the stakeholders.

Kunal Kapoor, Bollywood actor and co-founder, Ketto will kickstart Day 2 by delivering a special address on role of crowdfunding in the innovative healthcare industry followed by a keynote address by Dr. Naresh Trehan, CMD, Medanta The Medicity.

This virtual event is focused on discussing the implementation of artificial intelligence and technology in Indian healthcare space including its role in drug development. We will see major stalwarts from the IT sector of healthcare industry sitting in the panels, putting their views and sharing insights.

First panel discussion which will be moderated by Dr. Vijay Raaghavan, Director Healthcare Management Consulting, PwC India is based on answering the question; how AI and Innovation is redefining the Indian healthcare system? We will witness some prominent leaders like Arvind Sivramakrishnan, CIO, Apollo Hospitals, Dr. Geetha Manjunath, CEO & Co-Founder at Niramai Health Analytix, Veneeth Purushotaman, Group CIO at Aster DM Healthcare and Mohit Arora, Sr. Director Commercial & Govt Sales, VMware unfolding this discussion.

To dig deeper on the future of big data & blockchain with AI in healthcare, Dr. Vidur Mahajan, Associate Director at Mahajan Imaging and Head (R&D) CARING will moderate the second panel with the IT heads Viloo Williams and Girish Koppar joining from H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Wockhardt Hospital respectively along with Rajiv Sikka, CIO at Medanta The Medicity.

To discuss the role of technology and innovation in drug development, Abel Archundia – Global Head of IT & Digital Transformation, Bayer Pharmaceuticals will join the summit for a special talk from Berlin which will be followed by a fireside chat between Dr. Rashmi Hegde, VP Medical Affairs, CIPLA and Atish Majumdar, President, Mankind Pharma which will be moderated by Rajeev Kakkad, Partner/Advisory, KPMG India, on extending a discussion on various aspects of AI in drug development like improvement in diagnosis and innovation in drug discovery.

Sunil Khurana, CEO & MD, BPL Medical Technologies will address the audience with a talk on the role of medical equipment in the new-age healthcare system.

Third panel discussion will be the conclusion of the summit which will focus on the most critical vertical of technology in healthcare; telemedicine that has seen a sudden jump specially after the worldwide pandemic. This panel will be moderated by Kanishk Gaur, Director Consulting, EY will witness Dr. Atul Mohan Kochhar, CEO, NABH sharing his viewpoints on the role of NABH Digital Health Standards along with Dr. Sunita Maheshwari, chief dreamer & loop closer, RXDX Healthcare and Teleradiology Solutions with Parijat Ghosh, Partner (lead’s Bain’s Healthcare Practice), Bain & Company India and Ramakant Vempati, co-founder, Wysa.
